Smashed burgers have a long history in the US going back to the 1920's,
although they are still a new concept up here in the Great White North.
When we smash a burger here at Hoser's, we'll take certified Angus beef and press it into a thin disc on a screamingly hot griddle. This seals in the juices and creates a lacy browned crust that is quite unlike any other burger out there.
It really is an experience!!
